NOVELTY CAKES

AT HOLMSGLEN WHEN I WAS DOING THE PATISSERIE COURSE WE LEARNED HOW TO BAKE NOVELTY CAKES. The process was elaborate and involved extensive design research, design selection, ingredient planning, ingredient purchasing, baking and presentation.

My Novelty Cake

My Novelty Cake was a 3-layer cake. It's quite feminine in outlook, with flowers, leaves, and seeds. I would say the design was "elegant"

COMMERCIAL COOKING CLASS

I HAVE SOME PHOTOS OF MY COURSE MATES AT HOLMSGLEN WHEN I WAS DOING THE COMMERCIAL COOKING CERTIFICATE. We completed the course in 2007. Time flies and it's now 2009. We are now more experienced in our roles as chefs and cooks .....
I wonder how many of them have achieved the goals they set out for themselves.

BAKING CAKES

I LOVE BAKING CAKES. I LOVE TO SEE THE END RESULT. AND I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE ENJOY EATING MY CAKES. It helps that I have done the Patisserie course at Holmsglen. It also helps that I can easily get the ingredients I need here in Melbourne.

I have some snapshots of some cakes I have made for different family occasions.
