Homemade Granola
Ingredients :
A. Golden syrup, ground cinnamon, lemon zest and rice bran oil
B. Raw almonds, raw walnuts, rolled oats, sesame seeds, sunflower seed, pumpkin seeds and chia seeds
C. Dried cranberries and golden raisins
Method :
1. Preheat oven to 160 deg C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
2. Combine golden syrup, rice bran oil, cinnamon and lemon zest in a small saucepan and cook over a low heat for a few minutes or until loosened in consistency.
3. Put remaining ingredients except cranberries and raisins in a bowl, pour over golden syrup mixture and mix to coat.
4. Spread mixture onto tray and bake for 15 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes to toast evenly. Remove from oven and set aside to cool on tray.
5. When cool, stir in cranberries and raisins. Store in an airtight container.
Sprinkle granola over yoghurt, porridge, ice-cream or serve with milk, top with fruit salad......
